Click the Listen button to listen to the target word ("plate" for practice). After you have listened to the word, the Record button will be enabled. If you prefer you can check the auto start rec once check-box to start recording automatically after listening.

If you don't hear anything; check your audio volume.

Click the Record button to record the target word in bold after listening. When you have finished recording, the Play button will be enabled. If you prefer you can check the auto start playing check-box to start playing automatically when recording has ended.

Click the Play button to listen to your own recording of the word. Click the Listen button again to compare and repeat these steps as many times as you want. Optionally adjust the slider to change the volume of the recorded target words to match the volume of your own recording (your recording will always be played at 100%).

If you don't hear yourself; check your microphone settings.

Firefox only allows for one tab to have access to the microphone at the same time, so please check that you have closed other Firefox tabs when you have problems recording.
